Sourdough for Beginners

Ready to demystify sourdough and bake your own beautiful loaves? This hands-on class will guide you through every step of the sourdough journey–from understanding and maintaining a starter to shaping and baking a perfect artisan loaf.
We’ll begin with the science and care of a sourdough starter–how to feed it, store it, and keep it thriving. We’ll explore clever and delicious ways to use sourdough discard. Get your hands in the dough to shape your own loaf. Your instructor will demonstrate the entire process start to finish.
Walk away with sourdough skills and a sourdough starter to revive at home!

What to Expect |
Doors open 15 minutes prior to class.
Wine, Cocktails & Other Drinks available for purchase.
You’ll cook in a group of 2 people unless you request a larger group.
No need to bring anything for class – everything is provided.
Closed toe shoes encouraged.
Class subject to cancellation if a minimum sign-up not met. This will vary by instructor and you will be notified of the cancellation 24 hours in advance. Cancelled classes will be refunded.
